Canon (キヤノン)
EOS 10D
This is the camera I’m most likely to grab when leaving the house. It’s also the camera that first persuaded me to move away from Nikon, and it’s a decision I’ve never regretted.
Canonet Ql19
The Canonet was introduced in 1961, and brought with an automatic exposure system that enabled most people to take reasonable pictures. It also broke the 20,000 yen price barrier (coming in at 19,400) and broke many sales records at the time - the Tokyo department store Mitsukoshi’s Nihonbashi sold out of its stock in the first two hours.
Ixus L1
In Australia this camera is known as Elph, and a digital model is now available. I bought this in London primarily for capturing shots of friends at parties; the camera comfortably fits in a pocket.
